About Us

Choice FM is your easy listening radio station, playing music from the 1950s right through to the present day. We broadcast to Dublin under a temporary broadcasting licence from the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland between August and November 2005. Such was the response from Dubliners that we have now applied to the BCI to be allowed to broadcast to Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway from September 8th for ten weeks.

As an ‘easy listening’ radio station, we feature the great artists from the million sellers of the 60s and 70s to the present day. While listening to Choice FM, you can hear anybody from Frank Sinatra. Ella Fitzgerald, Steey Dan and Neil Diamond to Norah Jones, Garth Brooks and Claire Sproule. Our presenters are passionate about music and love broadcasting – and it wouldn’t be so much fun otherwise!

Choice FM is based at Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and our aim is to eventually be allowed to provide a full-time easy listening service to fill the huge void for this huge genre of music in Ireland.
